What We Do
Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities in Asia through evidence-based programs and technologies in the areas of newborn health; water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); and education. In 2016, Thrive Networks’ programs will benefit more than 890,000 people living in poverty.
Comprehensive Intervention Design
We develop innovative technologies and operational approaches, implement programs employing these innovations, carefully measure their performance, scale them when appropriate, and disseminate our lessons learnt to key institutional actors.
We rigorously evaluate our programs and innovations, regularly participate in randomized controlled trials, undertake quasi-experimental research, and employ third-party monitoring and evaluation to determine what works best. We document and disseminate our successes – and highlight obstacles – to key institutional actors (local partners, governments, donors, academic institutions).
Locally Led / Partnership Focused
Our work is primarily locally led and in partnership with governments, NGOs and local organizations.
Operate at Scale
We operate at scale across multiple geographies with more than 890,000 people benefiting from our programs in 2016.
Professional Program Execution
Our field staff are extraordinary performers, managing ambitious and complex programs, consistently meeting performance targets at or below budget.
