  • What Is Thrive Networks? What is East Meets West Foundation?

    Thrive Networks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and nongovernmental organization, established in the United States after the successful merger of East Meets West Foundation, Blue Planet Network, Reach Global, and Coach for College. We began in 1988 as East Meets West to support vulnerable communities in Vietnam gain access to basic human services, such as health, education, and water and sanitation. In Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, we continue to operate under the name East Meets West Foundation.

    East Meets West’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of underserved communities in Southeast Asia by working in concert with public and private sectors.

  • Where does East Meets West work?

    East Meets West operates in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. The global headquarters for Thrive Networks is in San Francisco, California in the US.

  • Where does East Meets West have offices?

    East Meets West has five main offices around the world:

    1. Thrive Networks – US headquarters – San Francisco, California

    2. East Meets West in Vietnam – Representative Office, Hanoi

    3. East Meets West in Vietnam – Administration, Finance, Programs, Danang

    4. East Meets West in Cambodia – Phnom Penh

    5. East Meets West in Laos – Vientiane

  • Can East Meets West fund my nonprofit or program?

    We are not a grant-making organization.

  • Does East Meets West offer internships or volunteer opportunities?

    Our country offices in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos have an ongoing need for office volunteers or interns. Our headquarters office in San Francisco, CA occasionally has a need for volunteers, but has no formal internship or volunteer program. Please contact info@thrivenetworks.org for more information.
