Learning from the CCN: Phat Saroun’s story
Phat Saroun was a CCN member in the Pursat province. When the CCN pilot finished, she volunteered to be a CCN champion to continue the efforts of CCN in raising community awareness of climate change and practical adaptation. In this clip, she talked about her experience in the CCN.

Mr Phoern Hom is a farmer from Boeng Kok village, Pursat province. He shares his view about the CCN, why he joined as a local facilitator and what he learnt. Opportunities and constraints for women's empowerment in Vietnam rural WASH: A case study of Nghe An province
This learning note presents the case study of Chau Cuong, a commune in Quy Hop mountainous district, Nghe An province in our research on the opportunities and constraints for women’s empowerment in a donor funded WASH project implemented in 5 rural provinces of Vietnam. Focusing on the seven domains of the National Strategy for Gender Equality 2011-2020, the paper offers some implications for policy and practice for improving gender equality and women empowerment in rural Vietnam.

Policy Review of Gender Equality in Vietnam Period 2011-2020
This paper reviews the policy landscape for gender equality in Vietnam. It looks at the legal basis for gender equality, focusing on the objectives and results of National Strategy on Gender Equality for the period 2011-2022. The policy review provides the context for a study on gender equality and women's empowerment in the WASH sector broadly and WOBA Vietnam particularly.

Report of WOBA Viet Nam latrine and water verification (July 2019 - Oct 2021)
This report presents the results of verification of latrines and water connections completed in the WOBA Vietnam project as of 30 October 2021: EMW and CDC completed 7,871 verifications for HH’s newly built latrines; EMW and PCERWASS completed 3,437 verifications for HHs’ piped water connections; WUs in Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Ben Tre completed 156 customer satisfaction surveys (CSS) of HHs after they had been using piped water service for 3 to 6 months.

Grassroots adaptation through the Citizens Climate Network: Implications for climate change adaptation policies in rural Cambodia. Policy Brief
This policy brief provides policy rationale for the CCN pilots. Drawing on the first two months of the CCN pilots, the brief poses the questions for policymakers in Cambodia: 1) How to translate policy plans to adaptation and mitigation actions that are effective and sustainable?; 2) Which policy plans should be prioritized and through which mechanisms and channels? 3) What are the benefits of immediate actions compared with costlier delays?

Household Demand for Safely managed Sanitation: A Case Study of Two Rural Communes in Cambodia.
This study investigated how rural households in two villages in Kampong Trabek district, Prey Veng province, Cambodia, have experienced, perceive and demand different aspects of FSM, particularly ADPs. The results of this study are intended to inform future FSM product and service development, and ultimately improve rural FSM safety and public health.

A Rapid Review of Financial Risks for Water and Sanitation Businesses in Cambodia
This review of prior studies on financial risks in supply market of WASH products and services was conducted to better understand financial risks issues generally in developing countries and specifically in Cambodia. The report synthesises issues identified in the review and document the risks that WASH businesses encounter along the supply chains, and factors associated with these financial risks in the WASH markets particularly in Cambodia. The results are used to develop a questionnaire to survey private sector WAS suppliers in the WOBA project.

Summary report of the Mid-Term Evaluation of WOBA Cambodia
This report summarises the findings of the mid-term evaluation of WOBA Cambodia. The evaluation assesses WOBA’s progress towards its planned outcomes and support learning by exploring the effectiveness of the strategies and activities implemented from June 2018 to June 2021. The summary report explores some initial indications of impacts and sustainability. It provides important recommendation in the ongoing implementation of the program and progress towards the project’s end-of-program outcomes.
